Backlinks - the value of unique IPs

By: HomeServiceContent

There is a major secret to backlinking, and that is, don't be stale. Google not only has graphs on their servers of all users, their favored types of searches, and how to customize searches for them, but Google also picks up with their algorithm the kinds of links you're backlinking too for your website.

Through time, as you begin or initiate your backlink campaign, you will get used to backlinking to some of the same general areas. You may be using a familiar forum site where you have a membership and you keep posting comments with your signature line (these will get you backlinks), you may submit articles to article directories or distribute to the same press release outlets (for free or at a price) using the same anchor text and backlinks. When you build backlinks this way, Google traces and pick ups all your backlinks, although Google cannot tell how you achieve your backlinks, they can see the source of your backlinks and your anchor text.

What are unique IPs?

Each internet user, each connection, and each website have their own unique IP address (internet protocol), an IP address is necessary to use the internet and it is a way to differentiate all the people and websites using the internet. Since we all have 'unique IPs', when you get backlinks to any particular unique IP, and if you keep posting backlinks to that IP, the IP is no longer unique. When Google gives credibility to your backlinks, they lower the value of backlinks coming from the same source, because this way it knows users cannot spam and use the same source over and over again to try and achieve high rankings, that would defeat the purpose of putting in work for your website and trying to retrieve backlinks.

So the question is, how do you receive unique backlinks?

There are many ways to get unique IP backlinks, through social media websites, and also through blog programs, There are blog programs on the internet available which will find you recent blogs (as of today, hour, minute) which are relevant to the topic you want. The amazing thing about certain blog programs is that they can filter out low page rank blogs. Once you post comments, make sure to read or scheme some of the things the writer was saying, so you can write at least a relevant post on the topic. Once you write your post, by placing your username (as your keyword) and your website address, you will receive an automatic anchor text. Comments usually get accepted fairly weekly, from 1 day to about 2 weeks on average, once it has been approved it will go in as a unique ip backlink to Google's system, and this is beneficial for you. Remember, don't post comments to blogs which have heavy traffic with a lot of comments, this will take down the value of your backlink because many people are posting comments to the same general area.
