Different Ways To Advertise

By: Kaitlyn Miller

They say there are a lot ways to skin a cat. Similarly, there are also a lot of ways to help you market your message to your target clients. Whether you do it the traditional way such as through postcard printing, or go online, advertising remains to be the most effective method of generating leads to your business. Without marketing, you’ll have a hard time having your target market know you. No marketing means no customers. No customers equal zero sales.

So how do you market? Let me count the ways:

Print Advertising
Print marketing is the oldest form of marketing. Newspapers in fact have been the most popular advertising medium since advertising was invented. A lot of people use newspapers and print collaterals such as postcard printing to reach out to as many people as possible. With almost everybody reading a newspaper, it’s no wonder that many businesses use it to advertise their offer. Nowadays, it’s very easy to publish color ads like that of a postcard template for example. You can either choose between black-and-white or full color ads. You can even put in pictures and graphic images to enhance your attraction. With pictures to attract your readers, you have more chances of getting your message read. The downside however, is that these color ads are more expensive than the usual print ad like a regular postcard printing.

Radio Marketing
Radio advertising is a big hit when it comes to marketers and business owners. It can reach a multitude of people when broadcasted on the radio. When done right, this type of advertising can help you pitch a good message that can attract listeners to your product or service. The downside however, is that if your DJ for example botched the job, you can get even less popular. Depending on how the person delivered your message, your radio ad can add or subtract to your popularity. The proper pitch, voice, and delivery can go a long way in getting your target market interested in what you have to offer.

TV Marketing
TV marketing often has the most ads as they regularly get to influence their viewers. Include a celebrity or a famous personality to endorse your ad in TV and you’ll more likely to convince your target market of your dependability.

Online Marketing
With the increasing number of people getting tech savvy nowadays, any business is nuts to even ignore online advertising. When you go online, you have a wider range of prospects every minute. There’s the pay-per-click internet advertising that you can utilize where you pay the publisher of the website based on the number of clicks your ad receives within a time frame.

Billboards
Finally, when you want to attract attention, go bigger. Use billboards and large format posters where there is traffic. Consider putting up your ads on busy streets, major highways and even at the bus stop. The idea is to get a lot of people to read your ad while waiting for the bus to arrive or when your car zooms past that crossroad.
