Help! I can’t find my favorite TV shows and films anywhere!

In the last eight decades there have been a huge amount of TV shows on the air. Some have been hugely successful, running five, 10, 15 years on the air. Others have been short lived series, running for maybe a couple of seasons; several TV shows that were aired never even made it a full season. For some of these short-lived series, they may not have been popular or established enough to be made into DVDs for purchasing. Even some popular and long running series have been overlooked simply because they were popular well before sophisticated recording devices were available. And they had been forgotten by the time the technology existed to market them to regular consumers.

The same thing can be said for old movies and classic films. Many classics are available in DVDs, but there are many more that never made it, either because of low popularity, B-movie status or lower, or they just didn’t make the list of movies to make to go to DVD. Often, if the movie was a flop in the theatres and doesn’t have a cult following, it is forgotten.

And often there are more people who are fans of these “lost” TV shows and movies than you might think. Whether you grew up with a certain TV show or there are movies you love that you haven’t seen (or found anywhere) in years, chances are you can find them if you look in the right places.
