Inculcate habits of eating well in children.

Eating well for children determines to a large extent the status of their physical and mental development. Mostly children avoid eating well at time. Parents should try to inculcate healthy eating habits in children. A well maintained and balanced diet plays an important part in the rapid growth of young children.

Different children have different eating pattern and interest. Eating habits of children depend on their age. At different age children have different weight and height and accordingly parents should schedule their diet. If children are growing well and are healthy then no need to worry. Parents should try not to indulge in force feeding. It is very bad as it leads to vomit and protest in children.

Parents can follow below mentioned tips to create habit of eating well for children-

•Parents should not let their child get bored from food. For this you can combine few nutritional foods together and then you can create a new taste so that children should eat with pleasure. Today there are number of recipes that may bring renewed enthusiasm to make eating well for children.

•Search over internet and find out some good as well as healthy eating recipes for children. Choose the recipes that are a blend of your child’s interest and what is required for his or her age and body structure.

•When you are preparing some healthy eating recipes for your children then you should always keep in mind their tastes. Children keep changing their tastes with change in their age. If you will keep a record of what they like and what they do not like will give you an idea about eating well for children. Generally in early age children like sweeter taste.

•Instigate eating well for children by presenting examples before them. Children learn through watching the behaviour of their parents, teacher and people in their surroundings.

•Involve your child while doing grocery shopping. Also ask them to help you while preparing the meals. This will increase their interest in the whole process and also make them aware of what is good for them.

•Do not force them to eat food they do not like to eat.

•Try to tell them about the benefits of nutritional foods and accordingly tell them the benefits of eating well for children.
Thus, parents can create Healthy Eating habits in their children by following these tips.
