Change is certainly a necessary part of marketing for every single company out there. It is possible to make small changes to your company so long as you’re careful about how you go about implementing them. You aren’t altering anything about your core message, which means you should be able to keep generating strong sales from your customer base, but you are making your posters more noticeable to other people. But there will be times when your changes need to run much deeper than things like poster templates. On these occasions you’ll have to take the most care and precaution to be certain that you don’t lose any customers, or you’ll have to decide if you can gain more customers than you’ll lose. The main solace I can offer in relation to the risks with this approach is that a change this deep is only going to happen occasionally. You might go a full ten years without such a major shift, but for the majority of companies out there you will eventually have to go for the large alterations in your marketing to stay fresh and stay on top of your competition. It’s up to you to know what changes those are and how to best handle them so that you don’t lose very many, if any, customers in the long run. Keeping a careful eye on what makes your marketing currently work, and what your customers like about your store, will be the best thing you can do to ensure you don’t harm your marketing by altering it.
