Volume of New Jersey Foreclosure Homes Is Eighth Highest in the US

The number of New Jersey foreclosure homes rose and took the No. 8 spot in the list of US states with the highest number of foreclosed homes for October 2008. Data released by property tracking and research firm RealtyTrac show that the average volume of foreclosed homes in the state is one for every 410 homes, up from one for every 711 homes a year ago. The average is also higher than the national average of one for every 452 houses.

If you are looking for cheap foreclosed homes up for sale in the state, Passaic County should be the first area you should make a search at. Currently, the county has the highest rate of foreclosure in the entire state, at about one for every 206 homes. Alternatively, foreclosed homes at Essex County should also be looked at, as there is a home for every 238 houses under foreclosure. All across the state, you could surely find a home that will suit your preferences, standards and requirements. If you will only be resourceful enough in your search, you could secure a very good deal.

If you are aiming to purchase foreclosed dwellings at low costs, you should check out available foreclosure listings in the area. It is not surprising that currently the inventory for such homes is continuously piling up. Reading and checking out such lists will be most beneficial to more homebuyers because there are additional helpful content.
