Consumers who get these kinds of messages get irritated and they treat these messages like spam. Aside from this, some consumers also complain that they have to pay for something they did not want in the first place. Knowing these disadvantages of premium SMS, companies should be careful in using this service. If companies or businesses do not take into consideration the negative feedback of consumers in using or, rather, receiving premium SMS, their mobile marketing campaign their marketing strategy might not be as successful as they would want it to be.
